The first version was simple, but it proved the idea: OpenTees could keep watch across the market so a golfer did not have to.

Then someone else tried it. Their preferences were different from mine, but OpenTees still found opportunities that felt personal to them.

The first genuinely useful recommendation was the moment the idea became real: less searching, and another chance to play.
