Recommendations, not bookings
OpenTees finds and ranks tee-time opportunities. Your booking is made with the course or booking provider.
Terms of use
These terms explain how OpenTees works, what you can expect from us and what we ask from you.
Effective 21 July 2026
OpenTees finds and ranks tee-time opportunities. Your booking is made with the course or booking provider.
Availability, prices and booking conditions come from third parties and may change before you book.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that UK consumer law says cannot be excluded.
01
These terms apply when you visit or use OpenTees, create a golf-preference profile, receive tee-time recommendations, request a course, or use another OpenTees feature. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
OpenTees is operated by [Your full legal name], trading as OpenTees. References to “OpenTees”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that operator. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information and forms part of the information governing your use of the service.
You must be at least 18 to create and manage your own OpenTees profile, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Golf courses and booking providers may apply separate age, handicap and supervision rules.

OpenTees monitors tee-time information from golf courses, booking providers and other sources, compares available opportunities with the preferences you provide, and presents or sends recommendations that may suit you.
OpenTees is not a golf course, travel agent or booking platform. We do not sell tee times, take payment for rounds, guarantee access to a course, or enter into the booking contract between you and a third-party provider.
The current core service is provided without charge. If we add a paid service, we will show its price and any additional terms before you place an order or become liable to pay.
03
Please provide accurate, current information and keep your email address and golf preferences up to date. Recommendations may be less useful when details are incomplete or outdated.
You are responsible for access to the email account used with OpenTees and for activity initiated through links sent to it. Tell us promptly if you believe your details or profile are being used without permission.
Do not submit unlawful, offensive, misleading or third-party personal information through course requests, notes or other free-text fields. We may correct or remove information where reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service.
04
Recommendations are generated from your stated preferences and the tee-time information available to OpenTees at the time. A match score or “best match” is a ranking aid, not a guarantee that a tee time will remain available or satisfy every preference.
Tee-time availability, prices, player spaces, course details, booking rules and cancellation conditions can change quickly. Always check the provider’s current information before booking. If OpenTees information conflicts with the provider’s booking page, the provider’s current information applies.
OpenTees does not assess whether a course, tee time or round is suitable or safe for you. Consider weather, course conditions, accessibility, ability, health and any provider requirements before deciding to play.
05
Selecting a tee-time link may take you to a golf course or third-party booking service. That provider is responsible for its website, availability, pricing, payment processing, booking confirmation, cancellation policy and delivery of the round.
Any booking contract is between you and that provider and is governed by its terms and privacy notice. Review them before completing a booking. OpenTees is not responsible for third-party content merely because we link to it, although this does not affect any responsibility the law places on us that cannot be excluded.
A link or recommendation does not mean that OpenTees endorses every aspect of a provider or guarantees its performance. Complaints about a booking, payment, refund or round should normally be directed first to the provider that accepted the booking.
06
By asking OpenTees to monitor tee times, you request communications needed to provide that service, which may include recommendations, profile confirmations, requested course updates and important service or security notices.
You can stop recommendation emails using the unsubscribe facility or available preference controls. Separate promotional marketing is handled as explained in our Privacy Policy and applicable electronic marketing law. Delivery is not guaranteed because messages may be delayed or filtered by networks and email services.
07
You must not:
We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate steps to protect users, providers and the service.
08
OpenTees and its licensors own the service, brand, software, design, original content and recommendation presentation, except for third-party names, course information and other materials owned by their respective owners.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use OpenTees for its intended purpose. This does not transfer ownership or permit commercial reuse. You may share an ordinary OpenTees link fairly and lawfully, provided you do not imply an endorsement or partnership that does not exist.
09
We continually develop OpenTees and may add, change, suspend or remove features, providers or coverage. We may also interrupt access for maintenance, security, technical problems or events outside our reasonable control.
We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where practical, we will take reasonable care to maintain the service and address significant faults. We may update these terms when the service, our business or the law changes. Material changes will receive reasonable notice where appropriate.
10
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory consumer rights.
OpenTees is responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, was caused by inaccurate information you provided, or arose from a third-party booking provider’s separate acts or omissions.
OpenTees is provided for personal and domestic use. If you use it for a business purpose, we are not responsible for business losses such as lost profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or business interruption, except where the law does not allow that exclusion. These terms do not make you responsible for losses caused by us.
11
You may stop using OpenTees at any time and can ask us to close your profile or delete eligible personal information. Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, security, suppression or record-keeping purposes, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated breach, fraud, security risk, legal requirement, harmful use or closure of the service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and give reasonable notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
12
Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, but if you are a consumer you retain any mandatory protections that apply where you live. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts applicable to their part of the United Kingdom.
If part of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive it. These terms do not give enforcement rights to anyone other than you and the OpenTees operator.
